Specifically, the client’s industrial sector is seeking Product Development Integration Framework (PDIF) Consultants. Product Development Integration Framework (PDIF) consists of industry extensions built on service-oriented architecture (SOA). SOA provides an open standards-based platform for integrating multiple applications used in the Product Development Integration Framework. PDIF serves as the core approach to complex product lifecycle management (PLM) initiatives at our client engagements.

The client leverages its industry leadership in SOA along with more than 25 years’ experience delivering product lifecycle management solutions to tackle tough client problems of integration.

The ideal PDIF consultant candidate will have product lifecycle experience in product data management integration, engineering change management, simulation to PDM integration, ERP synchronization, mechatronics integration, and supplier collaboration.

This position requires travel 4-5 days per week.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 4 years experience in full life cycle implementations of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) IT solutions.
  • At least 4 years experience in data management integration in a PLM environment.
  • At least 4 years experience in designing and implementing PLM capabilities around. engineering change mgmt and product data mgmt, and integrating these with other solutions within the organization (i.e., enterprise resource planning).
  • At least 4 years experience in working with PLM products: Siemens, Geometric, Centric, MSC, Prostep, or PTC.
  • At least 4 years experience in CAD, CAE, simulation integration to PDM solutions.
  • At least 4 years experience in consulting (i.e., requirements solicitation and developing integration solutions to implement defined requirements) with a previous consulting firm or other professional services experience.
  • At least 4 years experience in knowledge of the use of process-based integration solution platforms.
  • At least 4 years experience in designing, developing, deploying and supporting extended enterprise collaboration capabilities both inside and outside of an organization.
  • At least 4 years experience in knowledge of technologies used to support service-based integration (e.g., XML, Web Services, BPM, etc.).
  • At least 4 years experience in mechatronics integration.

Consultant will lead or support in the sales and delivery of Operations Strategy offerings to Clients across the Americas Travel & Transportation industry segment. The consultant will assist in identifying and delivering opportunities focusing on the “how” of a business, including: operating model, transformation planning, process excellence, program management, and financial improvement. The Managing /Sr. Managing Consultant is expected to support the identification and development of client proposals, lead the Firm’s delivery team at the client site, develop and grow client relationships, and mentor and support internal consultants.

  • Seeking Senior Manager candidates only.  The more senior the better.
  • 1st Preference: Candidates with strong operations strategy consulting experience in the context of a large consultancy, combined with industry experience in the Travel & Transportation sector (Rail, Hotel industry, Marriot, Hilton, etc),  3PL, (3rd Party Logistics), Shipping (large container / bulk shipping, or Fed Ex / UPS type companies), Freight Shipping, Hospitality Industry (Casino’s / Gaming, Leisure Companies, etc), Travel Companies (Cruise Lines industry, Vacation industry, Apple Vacations, etc),
  • 2nd Preference: Candidates who are lighter in T&T industry experience if they have strong operations strategy consulting experience across other areas of the Distribution Sector (CPG, Pharma / Life Sciences, Retail).
  • 3rd Preference: Candidates with some T&T experience, especially with recent projects or come from the industry side in the past, and are very strong in consulting firm and Operations Strategy experience (even if no CPG, Pharma / Life Sciences, or Retail industry experience).
  • Candidates at the upper end of the range must have recent or current experience selling or helping in the sale of consulting services (in addition to delivery and project management).   This can be achieved through direct sales to clients, or assisting their Partners in sales cycles, RFP’s, Sales Presentations, etc.
