This critical finance role is hospital based, located in central,  mid-west.

Plan, directs, and supervises all general accounting functions for McLaren Flint and subsidiaries.  Establishes and maintains an accounting system to meet the hospital needs and ensure integrity of financial statements, internal/external audits, tax returns and treasury functions.

Better qualified candidates should have audit experience in a healthcare setting, and controller experience.

Required minimum qualifications include a bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; a minimum of seven to ten years of related healthcare accounting experience; a minimum of three to five years progressively more responsible managerial experience.

Position Requirements:

  • Successful candidate must have experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a health care setting, or a mid-size to large organization; ability to connect with leaders, deploy process improvement and function effectively as a collaborative member of a dynamic team.
  • Able to be a thought leader while implementing at the tactical level.
  • Aptitude for developing scalable practices for growing business.
  • Experience is typically gained with 3 – 5 years in multiple disciplines of HR which may include talent management, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee relations, policy and program management as well as HR compliance.
  • Technically proficient in HR software systems and Microsoft Office Products. Desire experience with Sharepointe, Lawson, ImageNow or similar tools.
